Azerbaijan, Israel, Slovakia and Romania will compete next week for a berth at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games girls' football tournament in Nanjing as their Under-15 sides face off in the qualifiers in Nyon.

The Colovray Stadium, opposite UEFA's Swiss headquarters, will stage both the semi-finals on Monday 14 October and the third-place play-off and final two days later, ahead of similar qualifiers for the men's event. In the semis, Azerbaijan play Israel and Slovakia meet Romania with the eventual final winner travelling to China for the six-team event from 14 to 26 August. The hosts, Namibia and Venezuela have already qualified.

The four UEFA qualifying entrants were determined by the Respect fair play rankings for all editions of the UEFA European Women's Under-17 and U19 Championships since 2010/11, excluding the 2012/13 Women's U19 final tournament. All associations that had participated in the finals of a FIFA Women's World Cup, UEFA European Women's Championship or Olympic Games women's football tournament were ineligible, along with Europe's representatives in the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympics, bronze medallists Turkey. Eligible players are those born in the calendar year 1999.
