Moise Kean joined the short list of players to have appeared in a UEFA European Under-17 Championship finals and the UEFA Champions League in the same season when he started Italy's opener against Croatia on Wednesday.

In November, the Juventus forward had become the first footballer born this millennium to feature in Europe's top club competition. His cameo away to Sevilla on matchday five came three days after his senior debut for the Bianconeri, as a late substitute at home to Pescara in Serie A.

Kean, who announced himself on the Group A scene by scoring the Italian winner versus Croatia two minutes from time in Rijeka, was also involved in his country's 2016 U17 EURO finals campaign in Azerbaijan.
