Four teams of continental greats are set to feature in the first Ultimate Champions Tournament, which will be contested at the Champions Festival on Khreschatyk in Kyiv from 16:00-20:00 local time on Friday 25 May – the eve of the UEFA Champions League final.

Ultimate Champions games have been a highlight in the build-up to past UEFA Champions League finals, but this season even more big names are involved, with four teams competing rather than two.

A host of players who have graced Europe's top club competition will feature in Real Madrid and Liverpool legends sides, a UEFA Champions League Legends team and a Shevchenko and Friends side, which features final ambassador Andriy Shevchenko and will be coached by Ukrainian boxing heroes Wladimir and Vitaliy Klitschko, the latter now the mayor of Kyiv.

The teams will play five-a-side matches on the Fan Zone pitch, 15 minutes each way, with the winners of the two semi-finals meeting in the Ultimate Champions Final.
