The final tournament features eight teams with the draw splitting them into two groups of four.

How the draw worked
The draw was not seeded and the teams were drawn into two groups of four. The top two teams in each group progress to the semi-finals.

Group A: Northern Ireland (hosts), Germany, Scotland, Spain
Group B: Italy, Netherlands, France, England

• Hosts Northern Ireland are joined in the finals by the six elite round group winners and the runners-up with the best record against the sides first and third in their group: holders France

The draw was conducted by:

World Cup spot
The competition also acts as a qualifier for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France. As hosts, France are already assured of a place, and they will be joined by the top four teams in Northern Ireland.
