The 12 teams set to take part in next summer's UEFA European Under-21 Championship have now been confirmed. UEFA.com looks at the contenders.

The 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship will be the first 12-team tournament in the competition's history.

Nine of those berths were filled automatically by the teams finishing top of each qualifying group, with two taken by the play-off winners and hosts Poland also involved. UEFA.com profiles those countries who have secured their places.
