Runners-up on the field in the 2016/17 UEFA Youth League, Benfica have registered a victory off it by winning the competition's skills challenge – an initiative that helped raise €21,000 for the UEFA Foundation for Children.

Clubs in last season's edition of the Under-19 tournament were once again given the chance to submit a video of their UEFA Youth League squads showing off their tricks and – like in 2015/16 when Barcelona came out on top – the clips proved a huge hit on UEFA.com, our YouTube channel UEFA.tv and social media.

Benfica's keepy-uppy display in the grounds of their training facility, which you can watch in the video player above, was selected by the jury from 20 entries. Their reward is a special educational session for the club's UEFA Youth League squad as well as the rest of the Eagles' academy.

Academy director and former Benfica forward Nuno Gomes, who featured in the skills challenge filmed ahead of the final against Salzburg, said: "It is an honour to have won because it demonstrates that the jury recognised the skill and talent of all the players. They deserve this victory."
