The Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) has inaugurated new offices in Nyon, ahead of its general assembly on Thursday at UEFA's House of European Football in the Swiss town.

To mark the occasion, UEFA president Michel Platini received an award from EPFL chairman Sir David Richards, and the two men also symbolically kicked off a football match between teams from UEFA and EPFL.

Four representatives of the EPFL sit on the Professional Football Strategy Council (PFSC), together with four UEFA vice-presidents, representatives of the European Club Association (ECA) and the European division of the players' body FIFPro.
