UEFA general secretary Theodore Theodoridis and his FIFA counterpart Fatma Samoura today met the president of the Spanish Superior Council for Sports (CSD), José Ramón Lete, at the CSD headquarters in Madrid. They were accompanied by the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Ángel María Villar Llona.

The meeting was organised at the request of the world and European football governing bodies, in order to establish a permanent line of dialogue between all entities in attendance.

The topics discussed today included the application of regulations governing the international transfer of minors, the presence of TPO (third-party ownership) in the transfer market, and the monitoring of the RFEF electoral process.

It was decided to create a working group involving all parties to follow up on these issues and other football-related matters which may arise in the future.
