With Kyiv in the football spotlight this week, the UEFA Executive Committee convenes in the Ukrainian capital on Thursday for its latest meeting of the year.

Chaired by UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin, the committee is gathering ahead of Thursday's UEFA Women's Champions League final between Wolfsburg and Lyon, and Saturday's UEFA Champions League final bringing together Real Madrid and Liverpool.

The committee will be asked to select the hosts of three European club competition finals in 2020 – UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Women's Champions League – as well as the same year's UEFA Super Cup match.

Approval will also be sought for the 2018 version of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.

UEFA's club licensing and financial fair play measures, introduced in 2009, have been key in safeguarding the well-being of European club football and introducing more discipline and rationality in club football finances.

Turning to national team football, the committee is requested to give the green light to the UEFA EURO 2020 final tournament match schedule.

The EURO final round in two summers' time will be the second to feature 24 teams, and is being held in 12 cities across Europe – Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow, London, Munich, Rome and Saint Petersburg.

Thursday's meeting will be followed by a press conference which will be streamed live on UEFA.com.
