Ricardinho faces a nervous wait to see if he will win the adidas Golden Shoe for top scorer at UEFA Futsal EURO 2016.

The Portugal winger's two goals in the 6-2 quarter-final loss to Spain, including yet another outrageous strike, put him on six. That is two clear of four players, with Spain's Alex, who also struck twice in the last eight, now second with two assists, one ahead of Hungary's Zoltán Dróth, Spain's Mario Rivillos, Serbia's Mladen Kocić and Kazakhstan's Serik Zhamankulov.

Of those three, Dróth is out, but holds third place having played fewer games. However, Alex, Rivillos and Kocić, not to mention 2014 top scorer Eder Lima, who got a hat-trick for Russia against Azerbaijan, have two more games in which to add goals and overhaul Ricardinho. The Portugal No10 is also the overall top scorer for the competition including qualifying with 11 goals.
