Sporting Clube de Paris and hosts FK EP Chrudim are the first two teams through from the UEFA Futsal Cup main round while Baku United FC of London made a spectacular start to Group 5.

Group 1
FC Stalitsa Minsk 7-10 Sporting Club de Paris
• Stalista impressed in losing 3-2 to Chrudim yesterday and did do again as they so nearly overturned 6-3 and 8-5 deficits, dominating the second half to the delight of their noisy fans. Roninho's fourth goal of the match eventually made sure and victory was confirmed with a goal from Paris keeper Gabriel Miraglia.

FK EP Chrudim 4-2 KMF Zelezarec Skopje
• That result meant a Chrudim win would take them and Paris through but the large home crowd was made to sweat. The Czech champions twice had leads cancelled out before Max scored his second and third of the game late on. Chrudim must beat Paris on Friday to pip them to first place.

Group 5
Luparense C/5 2-6 Baku United FC
• Baku who came through the preliminary round, secured a comfortable win against the 2010 semi-finalists thanks to a hat-trick from the clinical Tobe. Baku were four up on 27 minutes and although Waltinho and Mauricio Cebola for Luparense back in the game, the English champions soon stretched away.

KMF Ekonomac Kragujevac 3- 1 Athina '90
• Under new coach Vladan Cvetanović and with a fresh young team, including tall 18-year-old Danilo Kostić alongside experienced captain Vidan Bojović, Ekonomac took time to get into the game but Nene struck in the 28th minute and Nikola Matijević added another. Athina, strong in the middle, pulled one back in the final minute only for Matijević to respond. Ekonomac play Baku tomorrow with the victors potentially able to book early progress.
