Elisha Levy has been dismissed as coach of Israel's national team after leading his side to fourth place in their qualifying group for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
"I would like to thank Levy for his work," said Israel Football Association (IFA) president Ofer Eini. "We had good moments but also bad moments. We will give the next coach all the conditions required for success."
Levy commented: "I had the privilege of coaching the Israeli national team. I have no remorse that I took this honourable and prestigious job. I think it was tough to get better results in this hard group, but I was judged on that."
